Steve Jobs is "back to work," says Apple
Steve Jobs has resumed his active role at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, following a six-month leave of absence, according to Bloomberg. The CEO initially will be present only a few days a week during the transition to his normal duties. Although Jobs will still spend some time at home, he is expected to quickly resume a full schedule.
“Steve is back to work,” said Apple spokesman Steve Dowling. “We are very glad to have him back."
Although the iconic CEO claimed to be addressing nutritional troubles, he eventually admitted the issues were more complex than initially thought. Jobs actually underwent a liver transplant procedure in Memphis, Tennessee. The company remained quiet about the surgery, although it was later confirmed by the hospital.
